Version 20.00 battery estimates. ive just updated to version 20.00 and the battery estimate says 59 days, before this update a full charge would be around 160 days. have the battery estimates been changed? or has the update increased battery drain ?

With my configuration I had before 20.00 four weeks without recharging. Have tested it again with 20.00 and it is now max. three weeks.
Nope. I think you'd be lucky to get 50 days with pulse ox on anyway.

a full charge would be around 160 days.
Which suggests you were in Battery Saver watch mode.

Right, so with the new update 130+d are not longer shown by watch… interesting. Is it kind of a violation versus what was announced by garmin and what we actually get with the latest FW?

Garmin - Chris, would it be possible to confirm on your end if the battery est. is lower as reported here and actual battery drain is higher on FW 20.00? Thank you!
I stuck to the actual battery life (after 4 weeks I had 2 days left in the display). Of course, I did not train exactly the same +- 0.5 hours / week.
So I'm pretty sure that the real consumption is higher. At the same time I have after 20.00 everything set to factory settings to have a fresh start.
The first measurement was after I received the clock and set it up. Which firmware that was, I can not say unfortunately.
The battery estimates have not changed but keep in mind the battery estimates come from a perfect scenario.
My experience was that it drains the battery much more faster than before, coming from 19.20.
So I returned back to 19.21, which is better again.
