Enduro Distance 0.01km after 8 km or more hike.

Connect recorded the complete Enduro GPS route accurately during a 1 hour and 32 min hike. Plotting the recorded data with time results in an accurate plot. Plotting the recorded data with distance results in a bad plot. (Incomplete.). Somehow the distance data became corrupt. The response I received from Garmin Support was that it was likely a one off since this error has never happened to me before. Somehow the file became corrupt. Support suggested that I delete this activity from my Garmin Enduro directly.

If you still have the fit file form the \GARMIN\ACTIVITY folder on your device, we might be able to repair it. Zip the file and attach it to your post.

If this happens again I will upload the FIT file. I deleted it from my device and don’t expect it is still there. Hopefully it won’t happen again.

I have the same problem today. We climb lascar vulcan in Atacama and the watch only record the path, without distance, velocity, etc

Try a manual upload to Garmin Connect - How Do I Manually Upload an Activity I Recorded to Garmin Connect?

If you get any message other than Import Complete, then there is a problem with the file being corrupt. Attach it to this thread. We can look to see if it is repairable.

Zip the file, then in a reply post Insert >> Image/video/file >> click Upload >> browse for file >> OK.
Or upload the fit file to a file sharing service, such as OneDrive, Google Drive, Dropbox, etc., make the file public, then paste a link to the file in your post.
