No Sleep Data

I have had issues with the sleep monitor in my recently acquired Enduro, I have records of every day since I bought it but yesterday… “No Sleep data!” and a red warning sign is shown, it didn’t record anything last night and it is not loading the GC data either.

  • There are many different factors that can cause your issue that you will need to review.

    1) Double check to ensure your sleep window time is set correctly on your Garmin Connect account.

    2) Check your Garmin Connect account to verify that your OHR sensor is recording your heart rate at all times you are wearing your watch. Also check that your accelerometer is capturing movement while wearing your watch. Both should always be recording while you wear your watch unless settings changed. You will see their data on your Garmin Connect account as part of your wellness data getting synced daily. If you do not see either OHR being consistently recorded or your Accelerometer picking up movement, it points to a potential hardware issue.

    3) Make sure you do not have your watch in Power Save mode or any other mode that will cause it to not record sleep at night. Check your Power Manager > Battery Saver > During Sleep > is showing set to OFF.

    4) You must be wearing your watch for at least 2 hours prior to going to sleep.

If everything checks out, try two troubleshooting steps:

    - Hard Reset: Hold your top left button until your watch shuts off then let go once off.

    - Reset: In your System > Reset menu, reset your watch.

  • Make sure you do not have your watch in Power Save mode or any other mode that will cause it to not record sleep at night. Check your Power Manager > Battery Saver > During Sleep > is showing set to OFF.

You can edit Power Save mode so that WHR stays on. Provided you have WHR set on, changing the setting in Power Save mode to Don’t Change’ will leave it on so sleep can be recorded when using Power Save during sleep.
note also that of you have more than one watch connected to GCM IIRC the watch you want to sleep with needs to be set as you’re preferred activity tracker.

  • Also make sure you haven't selected "Resume Later" after finishing an activity.  I've done this before on my fenix and the sleep data was not saved until I either Saved or Discarded the activity.

  • Well, I had a good night sleep and my enduro confirmed it this morning! thank you for the support.
