I am considering the Enduro. Technical data says something like, with GPS tracking, the battery will last 70 hrs indoors vs 80 hrs if outdoors at 50 000 lumens for 3hrs/day. Which implies close to 15% of the energy consumption is from solar. All day under overcast sky (say 9hrs at 50 000 lumens) would imply 45%. All day under full sun (100 000 lumens) would imply 90%. Is that a correct assumption? If it is, that would mean that active GPS tracking battery life would be anywhere between 140 - 700 hrs if used outdoor all day under a fairly sunny sky...
My use case suggests constant solar exposure when GPS tracking is active (sailing or bike touring in summer). What can I expect wrt to battery life? Someone here with 1st hand experience? In particular, does it make a material difference if the watch is worn on the wrist (as one would expect) vs on a bike mount (i.e. better exposure to the sun)
