Disappearing Pace / Avg Pace Field

Wonder if anyone has had this happen to them? I've noticed on my Enduro Asia (16.80) that the Pace/Avg Pace field occasionally disappears during an activity. Previously happened in Run activity and just today Avg Pace was empty in Trail Run activity. I believe both times this occurred when I took a long break (staying in the same spot) and it's as if Pace decided to doze off and took a long time after activity resumed before the field(s) displayed again.

Did you leave the timer running while you took a break? If your pace (or average pace) is very slow (e.g. slower than 60:00/km), the watch will display "--:--".

Yes, I rarely choose to pause an activity for fear of forgetting to resume (has happened more than once). The watch maintained a "--:--" even after I've resumed my activity and it was in direct sunlight so why it took such a long time before numbers were showing again. It took what felt like 5 minutes or longer before Avg Pace started working again.
