Garmin devices are great, especially hardware wise. But I had a horrendous firmware experience with my ex-Instinct Solar.
I have learnt to be very careful with Garmin firmware updates, given that there is no way to roll-back once updated. And that Enduro Asia units are locked out of beta firmware. Meaning: for Enduro Asia units, if the firmware is bad, we cannot go back and we can't jump ahead the versions either. Basically stuck until the next public update.
How is the 16.8 Update working out for you guys that have taken the plunge? Is it stable, same issues remain? or are thing worse?
