Fit File Damaged

Hi my friend.

It's the second time I've a .fit file in my Enduro damages.

This kind of file blocks the watch synch to Garmin Connect both via Android App and Garmin Express (USB). I tried uploading to Garmin Connect website too but nothing!

The http://garmin.kiesewetter.nl/ tool no longer works.

The strange thing is that STRAVA can read the corrupted .fit file and it's the only solution I found:

1 - upload to Strava
2 - export from Strava as gpx
3 - import to Garmin Connect website (losing a lot of info)

Someone has a different solutions?
Is it a bug of Enduro during saving?

Merlinox, we can at least fix your corrupt FIT file if you can zip it then insert it into your post.

3 ways to get the file to us:

Zip the file, then in a reply post Insert >> Image/video/file >> Upload >> browse for file >> OK.
Zip the file, then drag and drop it onto a reply post.
Post a link to the file using a file sharing service, such as OneDrive, Google Drive, Dropbox, etc.

You might want to check what you are doing when you end an activity or whether there might be an underlying problem. I can probaly count on one hand the number of times I’ve had problems uploading a completed activity after 1000s of activities and many years with Garmin devices.

I tried to upload fixed files to watch via garmin connect and usb too, but watch rejected them

You did extract the zip file into 2 fit files, correct? The files are 2021-03-22-05-44-32x-fixed.fit and 2021-03-20-16-25-03x-fixed.fit.

Those files work. I always test these before replying by uploading to Garmin Connect Web using the [import data page].

I don't suggest putting old files back on the watch. You only need them on Garmin Connect. If for some reason you have to do this, put them in the \GARMIN\ \ACTIVITY folder. I don't have an Enduro, but this works on my watch.
