The MK2 series being the newer generation continues to be updated. I hope you continue using your Descent MK1 watch for more years to come for the dozens of features already built into your watch since it was released in Quarter 4, 2017.
I'll probably continue using it as a backup computer to my Suunto Eon Core. I was sadly not aware of the shortcomings of the HW when I bought it and had hoped it could functon as an everyday smartwatch for me (my bad). The MK2 series is not an option as I belive the same thing will happen to this watch in a year or two.
