Descent MK1 depth sensor stopped working

Hi

My Apnea hunt mode stopped working 

one day it was fine now it does not switch on when I dive

I have tried rebooting the watch , software upgrades, warm water clean of sensor - nothing seems to work - the watch seems to have stuck on last time it worked

Any ideas on how to get the sensor working again

  • Did you try resetting the watch?

    If after all of this, you’re still having issues then it’s probably not a software issue but it may be a hardware issue and no one here can help you. You’ll need to contact Garmin (call) to get help.

    I have the same problem and the watch is not useable for diving anymore! I contacted the Garmin support and the solution proposed is to repair (I don't know exactly they want to do) for 450€!!!! I refused the proposal (not a commercial approach) and I will go to buy another watch BUT not a Garmin. The support is very bad. At your side, do you have solve your problem?

  • Mine and my husband stop working!! Right after the last update. When I contacted garmin they said my watch was old and would not replace it. It’s been used 10 weeks total. They said it’s hardware and you can not fix it.
