How to Prevent Garmin MK1 from Recording Entry & Exit Locations on Dive

Question

Hi all, 
 I'm wondering if there is a way of disabling the Entry & Exit locations on a dive? 
 I would still love to record the other dive information, but the Garmin apps share your locations with any of your contacts, which I don't want. I have tried changing privacy, and a friend showed me after I did that that he could still see where I'd been diving.

Hi Nradov, you nailed it. Took a little to find the right settings section, but for anyone else having the same problem in the future this is where it is: 
 - Top Right button to bring up activity list 
 - Scroll Up/Down to activity 
 - Press & hold left middle button (the Up button), to bring up "Activity x Settings" 
 - Press the Top Right button to enter those settings 
 - Scroll down to GPS 
 - Turn GPS to 'OFF'

I'm not sure about the Mk1, but on the Mk2 you can just go into the settings for whichever dive activity you're using (Multi-Gas, Single-Gas, Gauge) and set GPS to "Off".
