one feature that seems to be missing (unless I would not have found it yet) is that either the watch itself or the GARMIN Dive APP should ideally let you 'create' a QR code with all your dive details such that these can be read into the SSI (which I use) or PADI Applications - auto-filling the relevant data-fields.
I agree this would be an excellent addition to the Garmin dive app. I want to do this on my phone without having to export an FIT file and import it into the SSI app.
I totally agree. I found this thread because that is exactly what I was wanting to do. I had hoped I had found a way to do this here.

Just upload the .zip or .fit file using the button and a QR code will appear 1 second later. Tested with SSI. Not sure about PADI.
