It didnt go into dive mode!

Hello everyone.

Ive had my Descent mk1 for under a year now and it has over 100 dives on it.

But this time as I descended, my computer didn't go into dive mode. I cant find any information on how to troubleshoot this or if anyone else has had it happen. How do I make sure this doesn't happen again?? I'm worried about diving with it again just in case it happens again!!

I would call technical support, as you won’t be able to get much help here other than resetting your watch and trying another dive.

Funnily enough that's what technical support have told me to do!! Iwas sent instructions on how to do it and the buttons they are telling me to push aren't on the computer!! I'm now waiting for them to get back to me about how to send it back. They won't just send me a new one though, despite it being under warranty, they want a technician to look at it for 15 days. There is no sense of urgency at all. Really not impressed with customer care at the moment.

Are you starting the dive activity before descending or just relying on it starting the previous type of dive activity?

Either way should work in theory. If you are starting the dive activity (i.e. top right button, scroll to Single-Gas or Multi-Gas, top right button again) and it the watch is not starting the dive it would suggest your pressure sensor is not working.
