Anyone having issue after update 10.10 for garmin descent mk1 ? Backlight not working regally and battery drain ?

Good morning , Iam facing issue in battery fast drain working only 3 days especially after updates 10.10 , in same I find another issue in backlight timeout not stay for a 2 seconds even and some times not lighting the screen at all , please advise and help ,

My watch is garmin descent mk1

I do not see the excessive battery drain after 10.10 was applied. Seems normal to me.

Thanks for your reply , I had updated to 10.20 but even still facing the same issues in backlight and battery drain , let’s listen from brothers their experiences too , many thanks for you bro

Yes, I see that the v10.20 is avaialble which includes "Fixed display issue with disclaimer text" - I wish Garmin would be as fast fixing other issues as they are fixing the disclaimer...

Backlight works fine for me and my battery drain seems the same as it was before going to 10.10.

I have noticed that since the upgrade my heart rate LEDs oscillate when the backlight is active even when heart rate monitor is disabled. I don’t think it did this before.

Given Garmin's complete lack of transparency with the Descent, I would be surprised if they only fixed the disclaimer text. There was probably a bug that showed up as they rolled it out.

I really started to blame myself to choose gaming watch , it’s so expensive and the company not respect us enough , unbelievable attitude from company say it’s big in market
