Conservatism not appearing on Garmin Connect App

Hey everyone,

I am not sure if anyone had experienced this issue in the past, but now I am diving an when reviewing the dives on the APP is not showing the conservatism that was used.

Next to conservatism it just appears as: --

Sorry guys, we were able to reproduce this issue on an Android phone here. I was able to get conservatism to appear but as soon as I saved an edit to gas information or other information such as exposure…

Well, glad that you recommended SubSurface, I will start keeping my logs there too. Even though I really want to have a solution on the Garmin Connect App since it's my go to solution for everyday activities including diving.

That's also something I found quite surprising, if memory serves me well some of the Garmin moderators in other threads mentioned that they worked very closely with diver's when developing the watch and so on.... But from what we can see and day after day instead of getting bug fixes we get silence or un fixes. Quite sad given that Garmin has the potential to do exceptionally well in the market, but their implementation and CS is catastrophic.

And as you mentioned, they seem to have very little or quite poor understanding of the sport. With the cherry on top of the pie being the fact that their developers, moderators and customer service team seems not to care a single bit. Like having to wait 2 months for an APAC update...

Ok, now this it getting out of hand.

I decided to go into a dive an edit the gas data more precisely the SAC rate and now all of the information related to the gas dissapears.

Can anyone from Garmin please answer. This is absurd!

Sorry guys, we were able to reproduce this issue on an Android phone here. I was able to get conservatism to appear but as soon as I saved an edit to gas information or other information such as exposure suit or weights then all of the gas information and conservatism would change to --.

I am creating a case so our engineers can investigate the issue. Anyone who is experiencing this issue and would like to be added to the case please send me a private message so I can work with you on this. We were unable to reproduce this on iOS, if anyone is having an issue please let me know. Sorry for the delay on this everyone.

Dear Nate,

Thanks for taking the time and getting back to us.

Please also inform to your team that issue is kow extending to other data not only conservatism is dissapearing now. But also entry tank pressure and exit tank pressure. Gets lost by showing - - and doesn't save anymore data nor changes.

Also note the the problem with editing a dive with Garmin Connect web. This appears to only happen for a dive that occurred on the day that the clocks were moved forward.
