Clear user data loop

On the third dive today, Descent did not start "single tank dive" when submerged. Luckily, I wore another doc computer as well. However, the Descent restarted on its own and it shows"clear all user data?" on screen. Options are "no" and "yes" . Answering "No" looped back to the same screen. Answering "yes" it just stuck there.

Pressing light button for 15 seconds did turn it off but it shows the same screen after reboot.

What can I do to restore it to normal?

I am still in a diving trip without bring a computer with me.

Do you have the ability to hook it up to a computer? Try re-installing the 8.00 software if you do.

after my last dive my watch went into a weird screen which i did not have a chance to take picture of .. afterwards it asked me to reset my watch so i agreed , now it turns on to "CLEAR USER DATA?"
when i press NO it does not do anything and it goes back to same screen .. but if i choose the other option "YES" the watch stuck ... tried to connect it to my computer .. but the computer does not recognize it ... HELP ME PLEASE !!

Was there ever a fix for this?? I am in Cozumel right now with the exact same issue.
