Tides App from Garmin isn’t working after 8.00 firmware update. Help

Anyone have any problems with the Tides app developed by Garmin?

Mine is not showing the data after the recent 8.00 firmware update. Even clicking on previous entered location or coordinates (which was working fine) before the update were not working as well.

It shows a prompt message with ‘No Tide Stations Available near your location’

If there was no tide station near my location then why was it working before? I’m in the same location before and after the firmware update.

Anyone please?

I didn't have the Tide app before but I was interested to try it. I installed it.

I live an hour for the sea so I entered the GPS coordinates of one of my favourite dive sites and it displayed the tide data. It is difficult to read because the data overlaps but it is there. I can go a few days into the future.

The numbers don't exactly match the tide data from the Australian Bureau of Meteorology site but considering I'm choosing a slightly different location, that makes sense.

Interestingly, when I entered the coordinates matching the BoM site, I get no data.

I'm on 8.00.

That looks more like an issue with the available tide data rather than the app no working.

I taught so too ...

and ive waited for it to be resolved and it has been a week or so. Not sure with who or where to check if it’s a problem on the other end rather then the app itself.

My tide app was working fine also and now says no current data at location. I have the descent G1 Solar. Mate of mine stood right mext to me with the mk 2 and his tide app reflects the tide. I have tried resetting watch, uninstalling app on phone and repairing and still doesn't work. Restarting watch also didn't help. Been trying different GPS settings and still nothing. Will call Garmin and hopefully get a solution.
