Tried different setups, reinstalled, switch on pool mode, nothing helps. Other apps inland, apnea work just fine. Wonder why, not a serious problem but bit annoying

I’ve not swum with my Mk1 so I can’t really help.
There may be value in asking in the Fenix forum as the Pool Swim activity should be the same. They may be able to help or at least you may…
I tried it while snorkeling in Hawaii, granted last year, and it was absolute rubbish. Said I swam 100' or so when it was probably closer to a mile. Have not tried it since.

hello
I just bought them and have the same problem doesnt measure distance at all!!!! did you sorted problem? What does say garmin support?
Hi all, I have done both pool and open water swimming in the past few months and distance was measured just fine (both in meters and yards):
Did you set up the pool length? I update it accordingly every time.
Also, I wouldn´t trust it to identify the style I swam (I believe I read it could actually do it), but I think stroke count and swolf should be accurate.
Keep in mind that the watch while swimming in a pool, counts the distance when you push of the wall. So the best way to make sure it's counting correctly is to ensure a firm push over when doing laps. Also when pushing make sure to have your hands in front.
