Improved source for all temperature readings

Before 8.00, the Mk1 would display one temperature on the dive display but record a different temperature to the dive log.  For me the dive log had a temperature that was 2-3ºC lower than what was displayed.  The displayed temperature was the most accurate.

The problem could also be demonstrated by comparing the temperature displayed in dive mode to that in the temperature widget.  On my Mk1, the temperature widget showed a temperature that was 2-3ºC lower than that on the dive display.

While diving, my Mk1, Citizen Hyper Aqualand, and Shearwater Perdix AI would read the same or there would be no more than a degree difference, with the Perdix reading a bit lower, than the Citizen, which might read a bit lower than the Mk1.

For example, they may all read 16ºC but then the water gets a little cooler and the Perdix would read 15ºC with the other two on 16ºC. If it got a bit colder again, both the Citizen and Perdix would read 15ºC and the Mk1 may still be on 16ºC. Colder again and all three display 15ºC. There was never more than 1ºC between the Mk1 and the Perdix.

I have now installed 8.00 which is supposed to fix the problem.

Now both the dive display and temperature widget display the same temperature.

I would have preferred to test this with a dive but I'm recovering from minor routine surgery and will be out of the water for a few weeks.

I instead tested it in a tray of water in my laundry.  I put my Mk1, Citizen Hyper Aqualand, and Shearwater Perdix AI in the water and let them equalise for at least 15 minutes.

I'm not sure what to make of the 2ºC difference.  At least the temperature widget shows the same as the dive display, 16ºC.  There were a couple of times during my test when the Mk1 showed 15ºC both on the dive display and the temperature widget.

I also stuck an old photography mercury thermometer in the water and it read around 15.3ºC.

This suggests that the Mk1 is now reading a bit high but I will need to wait until I can dive again to test it properly.
