Automatic adjustment for altitude diving?

Does the Descent automatically adjust for diving at altitude? I cant find anything in the manual or online on if it does or doesn't.

It does but you’d have to ensure that you calibrated your watch to the proper altitude beforehand.

Is there a setting that needs to be turned on? I have manually set my altitude to several different levels all the way up to 10,000ft and checked the NDL times against sea level times and nothing changes. I assume my time for a 100ft dive should be a lot shorter at altitude. than at sea level or am I missing something?

I ask because I am planning on doing an altitude diving course later this summer.

Why not? Not all diving is done at sea level.

Hello I have exactly the same question, this is a serious safety question Garmin doesn't have any info and this kind of equipment is used to conduct people into serious physiological conditions
