Quality of SS Frame

I have the "base" model (if you want to call it that for $1000 a pop). I have the watch a little less than a month and the SS frame already has scratches. Has anybody taken this model diving and had any rust issues?

I’ve had this version and had reasonable, everyday wear and tear on the bezel. No issues with rusting.

The next version (which will probably fall under the MARQ series) of the Descent should have ceramic bezels or at least DLC...that’s my hope.

I've had my current Mk1 for nearly 6 months and done nearly 70 dives with it. There are some minor scratches on the bezel but definitely no rust. I had my previous one (replaced because the main button died) over 7 months (157 dives) and it was the same. I doubt rust will be an issue.

I have had my SS Descent for over a year, it has some minor scratches on the bezel and no issues with rust or damage the screen itself

Go to any local jewelry store. For about 20 bucks they would re publish it for you. And it’s like new
