That’s a bit high. You should be around .250 to .300 per hour. Now, that will change depending on your watch face. That can cause a greater drain.
Mine drains at around 0.3% per hour just wearing it. I am using Big Time watch face and have Bluetooth turned and activity tracking on.
As an example, mine was at 100% at 11am yesterday when I took it off the charger. This morning at 7am it was at 94% (~6% in 20 hours). I then did a 98 minute dive an at 10am it was at 90%.
I used to charge mine in the car while I was driving to diving but Garmin Support warned me to only charge it from a computer or a Garmin branded wall outlet.
Have you installed a third party watch face? These are almost always the culprit.
I charged it with third party 2A outlet for a few times. Now I use laptop USB charging. For me 20 hours will discharge about 20-25%:(
I deleted them all. Now only use default face...
I would reset (wipe clean) your software/watch and start fresh. You need to determine if this is a software or hardware (battery) issue.
i have same problem with the new fenix 6 pro. Around 1%/h with only HR, BT and activity tracking. For my last Fenix 5s, with similar setting the battery could last for 10 days.
Dont know why, Have you fixed your problem?
I recommend posting this in the fenix 6 forums since it does not have to do with the Descent.
