As of the last update this was added to the watch, but there was a note stating that it had not been enabled in Garmin connect. Several months down the track and still not available, any idea when it might be implemented?
I also seem to be missing the advanced sleep details, normal and very basic sleep data is recorded and displayed, but no rem data is visible anywhere. I am suspecting the implementation is not completed on the Garmin Connect side. Garmin-Heath can you confirm on your end?

Everyone, thank you for bringing this up. We have confirmed that Descent Mk1 should be showing Sleep Data. With MarcinB permission, we were able to take a look at the hard data. Everything is working correctly on the Descent Mk1 but Garmin Connect is not displaying the information correctly and we are reaching out to that team to see if we can get more information. Once we have more information, we will be updating this thread. If you would prefer us to contact you, please reach out to our Product Support teams and they will be happy to add you to the contact list that we will start for this.

After you sync over your new sleep data, can you confirm that Advance Sleep Data is displaying on your account? If it not, please let us know if we can view your account to see it from this end. Thank you.
Garmin-Heath - confirming this to be resolved, I got the advanced sleep data including REM cycles showing in the mobile app and on the Connect site. The sleep page now shows:
Advanced Sleepx Your device now provides advanced sleep monitoring, including REM sleep levels.
