The Garmin Weather widget used to work just fine for me. But since about two months it is just saying "Waiting for data..." Anyone else experiencing this problem? I sent a ticket to Garmin, but so far no response...
First, things work a lot faster in resolving problems by just calling and speaking to someone. Second, have you restarted GC and your phone (I’m sure you have, just had to ask)?
Your phone one draws data from local cell towers to obtain weather information. Maybe there is a disconnect between GC and the process of drawing that info. Uninstall GC and reinstall it and see if that helps.
Odie21, thanks! I did a restart of Garmin and iPhone and reinstalled the widget a couple of times before, but it did not help. So I tried to do it now again and guess what. It works :-)! I don´t know what is different, but anyway it works now... :-)
