I have searched for this information with success so far. Does anyone know what gradient factors the descent conservatism settings (high, medium and low) correspond to? Or if they don’t correspond to grandient factors, what other algorithm factors they affect? Any information would be much appreciated.
I use the Sherwood Profile computer (can’t have an AI computer fail on me with students) and I’ve found that the Conservative Factor set to “low” on the MK1 best matched my computer.
The stock conservatism settings map to the following gradient factors.
Low: 45/95 Medium: 40/85 High: 35/75
You can see this by selecting Custom, after picking one of the stock options. It defaults to the current GV setting, and will show the low and high values.
