One of the reasons why I bought the MK1 and now the Instinct, was because I really liked the Vibration feature for all of my notifications. I’m starting to believe though that there is a minor glitch with this software though (that I didn’t experience with 2.60 or older). I’ve been trying to recreate the scenario though to understand it and I wanted to see if anyone else has experienced this.
I find when I change watch faces and/or disconnect from GC, that the Vibration Alert for my Notifications, switches from ON to OFF. Even though in GC (also on my watch), it’s set to ON but it switches off. I’ve even gone as far as downloaded the Garmin WebUpdater and reinstalled 4.00 several times, as recommended by support but it eventually reverts back exhibiting the same problem.
Now I thought that maybe this was an isolated incident with my watch (and another issue), so I sent it into Garmin and they sent me a brand new watch (great CS btw). But now I’m experiencing the exact same issue with this watch is well.
Has anyone else experienced something like this or any other settings randomly changing? I know this may sound like something minor to some, but I heavily rely on the Vibration for alerts/alarms, etc.
