SS vs Titanium

As far as I can tell, the only difference is the bezel and the bracelet material. Is the watch body of both made of resin composite, or is the Ti actually titanium body?
I've read that the Ti version has DLC chemical black coating to prevent scratching, as far as I know, the bezel is the most vulnerable point.

Am I correct in saying this is effectively $700 for a strap?
  • I currently have the Ti version. But I previously had the SS version, which I sold. I don’t use the bracelet but I changed over to the Ti version because I hate silver bezels. The Ti version definitely shows more scratches than the SS version...which is obvious. I wish they made it similar to the Tactix Charlie with the DLC coated, all black type bezel.
  • The titanium version has a fiber reinforced resin indeed. So from my understanding it is the same as the steel one.. One thing I can say is that it feel quite light compare to any steel watch.. So that's one of the advantage. You might want to check the total weight for both watch if this is one of the parameters you consider..
