I have updated to the firmware 4.00. After the first activity I noticed that no training effect is displayed anymore and transferred to Connect. I suppose that's why a recovery time of "0 hrs" is displayed. The "power state" is also no longer displayed or recorded. Another activity achieved an identical result. Eventually, a bug has crept in here. Or is the mistake with me? Has anyone else also observed this behavior?
I have only done one run since upgrading to 4.00. After the run Training Effect was displayed on the watch and also appears in Garmin Connect. I was also told I needed 30 hours of recovery.
I will be going for a run shortly, I'll see if it works again.
Thanks a lot atj777 for checking it out. Didn´t get it today again and I wrote an mail already to the support team. If I will get any information I will post it.
I did a hard reset at my device before I got an answer from the Garmin support because I am a little impatient ;) … problem was solves afterwards.
During the very good conversation with the Garmin support team few days later I learned that this was probably not necessary. Most likely, the error was related to the fact that I use several Garmin devices. I have configured the MK1 as the preferred fitness tracker but judging by the error it is likely that an error has crept in here.
To switch my old fitness tracker (fenix3) as the favorite one and then back again to the MK1 could possibly solve the problem without doing the hard reset.
