I have a new Garmin Descent Mk1. I also have a Garmin chartplotter for my boat.
Here's my question:
1. If I buy a Garmin chart product does the license permit it to be used on both devices that I own?
2. For the boat, my preference would be to purchase the Vision charts since the plotter can make use of all that detail. I'm guessing that both from a visual detail and a file size perspective that's not the ideal chart product for a wrist-worn device. Is there a way (sanctioned by Garmin or otherwise) to strip the satellite imagery portions of the Vision maps to make them look to the Descent as though they're the stripped down non-Vision versions?
