Stryd power compatibility

Does anybody know if descent MK1 is fully compatible with stryd?
I am using stryd with my Garmin forerunner 935 and I am very happy with it. I can see power through the connectIQ data field in my watch and at the same time I have stryd calculating pace and distance which I see during running.
Having in mind that descent MK1 is actually a Fenix 5X, and that Fenix 5X is fully compatible with stryd (as Garmin 935 is), can anyone confirm that I will be able to use stryd with the descent MK1 the same way I now use it with 935?

It is not listed on their compatibility chart: https://support.stryd.com/hc/en-us/a...tibility-chart so it suggests not but it would be better to check with Stryd themselves.

I suspect there aren't enough people following this forum that you'd have a Descent Mk1 user who also has Stryd to answer your question.

Thanks for your answer. I just bought the watch and tried it with stryd. It's fully compatible showing power and calculating distance and pace correctly, just like on my FR935.
So, for those who are interested, the watch can be used with stryd!
