Mark button equivalent? Also... how to find saved location?

Hey gang, two questions, both of which I can't seem to find in manuals.
#1- is there a MARK equivalent on the Descent? Specifically, I bought this watch to record locations where I surface in the water without having to carry a separate GPS in a dive-proof container. I see that the watch will record the end of dives as a location, but for various reasons (very shallow caves) I don't want my end of dive timer to be less than about 5 minutes so I don't get 10 dives in what is really one dive. I also don't want to wait for 5 minutes on the surface for the watch to record the end of a dive. Is there some way to force it to record a location?

#2- once it does record the end of a dive, how do I get an exact location? I can see it on the watch and zoom in, but I cant figure out how to make it show the lat/long. Same with the garmin connect- I can see the point, but I can't right click or anything on it to get an actual lat/long.

#3- In the new software update 2.50, does the setting for the compass now apply to the dive compass as well, or is there a separate setting page for the dive compass?

Unfortunately, I can only help with #3. Whatever your system setting is set to for your Compass Widget (Magnetic North or True North), is what your Diving Compass will reflect.

#1 No idea - but I doubt it can be done.

#2 You will need to load the FIT file with an application like http://www.divinglog.de/ or http://www.mac-dive.com/

I asked Garmin that same question about marking a location and was told that you could not do this once the computer entered dive mode. I will see if any of the updates have changed this behavior this weekend.
