Weather App Incorrect - Really Incorrect

My new Garmin Approach S40 is showing totally the wrong weather.

It is currently 16F outside (per digital thermometer) and my watch is showing 89F.

I have tried both the Garmin Golf and the Garmin Connect app, both have locations enabled. I have rescyned and restarted many, many times.

Getting notifications from my phone (text, calls, Facebook, etc.) so I am sure it isn't a connection issue.

It did work briefly last night, now it is back to 89F.

I wish it was that temperature here and not the actual outside temp.

Help Please!

I am sorry you are both experiencing a weather report issue. Please sync your Approach S40 through the Golf APP and see if your weather shows more accurately again. If you have the Connect Mobile APP installed too, please manually sync in the GCM APP too.

I am having the exact issue and nothing I've tried has worked. It shows 80f when it is 36F currently.

You might try this. Open the Garmin connect app. Go into settings then phone permissions. Manage the permissions so that the Location Permissions are set to "Allow all the time". That will allow your S40 to receive data from the phone even when Garmin connect is not running.

So I downloaded the Connect app and selected allow all the time, it is still showing the inccorect weather. I'm just not sure what else to check/change.

Everyone that is following this thread, please test keeping your Garmin Connect Mobile APP open in the background on your Android smartphone to see if that resolves your Approach S40 weather issue.

Have Android phone....On the phone, went to "SETTINGS", then "LOCATION", then under "APP PERMISSIONS", I ensured that my weather app (Wunderground), Garmin Golf, and Garmin Connect were all showing as "ALLOWED ALL THE TIME". Once I did this, weather started showing up correctly immediately on my S40 Golf Watch.

I have been having the same problem on my Garmin S40 Golf watch. Finally, on my Android phone, went to "SETTINGS", then "LOCATION", then "APP PERMISSIONS". Once I changed the location permission for my weather app (Wunderground) and Garmin Connect to "ALLOWED ALL THE TIME", accurate weather conditions and forecast immediately began showing up on my device.
