I played a round yesterday, and since I was keeping score for my group on paper I turned off score keeping on the watch. I did use the watch the whole round, checking distances and inputting clubs every time I took a shot. When I got home I noticed the game (and course) hadn't registered in the app or online, which meant I can't see any statistics or the shot tracking with the hole maps. I was fairly disappointed as I had some very nice shots that I really wanted to look over afterward.
Is this how it's supposed to work? Feels quite annoying to have all that data just disappear just because I didn't use the scorecard functionality. It should still be able to keep track of clubs stats and shot distances in my opinion.
