Try connecting your watch to a home computer with Garmin Express installed. If the Approach S20 is added as a device, check and see if updates are available to install when connected to see if that resolves the issue with the update failed alert you are seeing.

Thanks for the suggestions. All updates are completed from the application Garmin Express side. The error occurs when I try to apply update on the watch after disconnecting.
