" Golf Maps Missing". but still finding Courses

Since my last update I am getting the following message " Golf Maps Missing". I have re-installed the courses, done a soft and hard re-set but still keep getting the message. It is finding my local course and worked fine but I keep getting the message. How can I stop it ?

Hello, you can try formatting the watch on your computer and then doing a reinstall of the course map data with Garmin Express. We would strongly suggest you contact Golf Product Support directly for assistance…

I have the same problem. I think it is because I previously had all world courses on watch, but updated to just Europe/Asia. I can't find how to get back to all world.

I've had the same problem for the last 3 months. Now in the middle of the round the watch will reset causing me to lose the holes I've played and requires that I START a new round.

Same problem. Clearly this is a software bug, as the S20 cannot and does not "display" golf maps. Distance is fine, but the S20 keeps looking for maps as if it can display them. I guess garmin just quit supporting S20 users.

I want to share my experience. I got this issue when I attached it to the USB cable and communicated with Garmin express.
I do the factory reset and I used the watch without any issue and I needed to charge it. And then I connected with the computer which is running Garmin express and I got this issue.
I guess Garmin express changed something to display this error. I am using Garmin connect instead of Garmin express.

I formatted the watch and re-installed using express. Same error message. It's not the map data it's a bug. The software should not be looking for map data on an S20.

There are way too many users having the same issue. That pretty much means there is a bug in one of the updates that we have done. Someone needs to seriously look at this problem.

I found the replicate steps.
I reset the watch and I connected the charging cable and disconnected the cable and then I got "Golf Maps Missing".
I tried to connect to these devices to charge on windows laptop, Linux PC, USB wall charger and I got the same error message.
