While I appreciate it has been asked numerous times with only a 'this is an entry level product' being some sort of answer, though £200 seems rather steep for an entry level product and even more extreme is paying an extra £50 for an S40 that does Stableford scoring!
What I don't understand is why the Garmin Golf App on Android / iPhone cannot take whatever match play score is on the S20 and convert it to stableford when sync occurs. This would surely just require a simple software update.
So, if Garmin wanted to fix what definitely appears to be an omission bearing in mind the majority of amateur golfers play stableford, they could. I suspect though they are more interested in selling products though and thus customer service goes out the window and this will never be addressed so the so called 'entry level' S20 becomes rather pointless. Have an electronic device on your wrist to measure distance only and having to score on another device / card is completely pointless.
