Starting on number 10

I played 9 holes on my regular course today and started on the 10th hole. The watch defaulted to starting on number 1, but did not detect that I was actually starting on 10. I could not figure out a way to force it to change holes. I tried ending the round and restarting, still didn't work. Finally on the 12th hole, I restarted the round and it figured out what hole I was on.

1. Why didn't it detect I was starting on hole 10? The #1 and #10 tees are at least 100 yards apart.

2. Is there a way to force the watch to a certain hole?

Yes there is. Our course rotates starting holes each week, either starts on one or ten. When you start a round and the watch shows hole ONE use the left buttons to click up and down to change holes. If…

Yes there is. Our course rotates starting holes each week, either starts on one or ten. When you start a round and the watch shows hole ONE use the left buttons to click up and down to change holes. If you go on to the front you will have to move it to hole one after you finish hole 18.
