750i Change log

I just updated my 750i and it installed version 20.50. How can I get the change log for this version?

If you update via Garmin Express on a PC, you have an opportunity to see the change log there. Other channels do not give you that opportunity.

It is always a bit out of date. It might or might not catch up to 20.50 eventually. AFAIK, that's the only official source for the change log.

gpsrchive.com also has change logs. Currently, it also stops at 20.30. I would guess that the original source of this list is the Garmin link above.

Apparently Garmin has stopped providing release notes in Garmin Express when an update for outdoor handhelds (at least for my GPSMAP 67 and now for Montana 7xx) is offered. The release notes seem to show up after some time, my guess is when the stages roll out is at 100%. But of course this is useless if you have already installed the update...

I've previously asked on the forums here why it is that way, and the answer from one of the Garmin reps was "it's so because it is the way it is and we always do it like this". And they do not seem open to feedback on why providing release notes and the update at the same time may be beneficial for end users.

So what I usually do is contact Garmin Support via chat and ask them about it, usually they can find the release notes in their internal systems.
