Hi Everyone,
New to the world of Garmin and have been experimenting with this problem on my own/researching but can’t seem to confirm whether the issues I am having are actually issues, or how the Montana 700 is designed.
Essentially, I’m trying to take these maps https://lewiscountyny.gov/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/2021OHVOffRoad.kmz
https://lewiscountyny.gov/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/103128.kmz
and import them into my GPS in some manner that will allow me to look at the main map screen (icon to the right of the home button) without specifically choosing any of the routes/tracks/whatever they get imported as, and see ALL of the roads or trails that are apart of these imports. The difficulty I am having regardless of how I import (BaseCamp, Explore) is that no matter what format I use to import them (tracks, routes), the only way I can seem to see them on the map is by selecting one of a few hundred files that get imported from the “search > routes or tracks” section. It seems like essentially one or more files are created for each section of trail, and I can’t be trying to guess which of 300 files is the trail I’m on, selecting it while riding.
Hoping this makes some shred of sense to someone on the forum, but I’m happy to try and clarify if needed.
Thanks!
