Garmin Montana 700I Dog Tracking

Looking at using my Montana to get my dogs locations. I cannot seem to find any info on what trackers are compatible. Will I need a separate handheld to link to the Montana or can I just go straight to the dog tracker from the Montana. I am interested in using either the Alpha T20, T 5x and TT 15x if they are even applicable.

I use the Alpha 10 remote with two TT25 (Used to use 3 T5x) and my 700i. You just pair it via ANT. I also use them with my Fenix 5x Plus. Once paired there are settings to how old of a track to show if any and it will show each dog as the color they are assigned on the map. On the watch it just show distance. Hello 8234504The dog tracking collars are not compatible with the Montana devices. You would need to look at the dog tracking units and collars. Garmin.com - Sporting Dogs

Yes this article Setting up My Montana 700 Series to Track My Dogs does list how to do it but keep in mind the very first sentence... "The following guide shows how to set up your Montana® 700 outdoor handheld with a compatible dog tracking handheld so you can track your dogs on the larger Montana screen".

Fair point they didn't list a remote/tracker above.
