The navigation failure (freezing at 80%) has been mentioned a lot on the forums. Open a support ticket so that you will be notified when it is fixed.
I don't recall hearing about the problem of not being able to find an address without a "zip code". Does not surprise me, but I don't recall hearing about it before. If you open a ticket, be sure to mention that, too.
Edited to add: The fixes in the latest release (18.10) include something related to recalculating the route. I have not tried it yet. If you are not up to date with 18.10, you might want to try that first.

I have downloaded the latest fix 18.10 and the address search function still does work without a post code?
I think that's a separate issue. Open a support ticket. You may get the "by design" excuse. But it's worth a try.
One thing you might check in the meantime. Pick an address which the unit cannot find without a postal code. Now, check to see if that address is ambiguous without the postal code. In other words, check to see if that same address exists in more than one postal code. And no, I have no idea HOW to check to see if it's ambiguous

Thanks, I have tried quite a few addresses close to home, It is rarely able to find any without a postcode. I also checked the spelling against City Navigator to see if there was a spelling issue. The strange thing is my Garmin Zumo can locate all the addresses and is using City Navigator
Noticed this today.
I'm gonna update City Navigator first and try it again.
Hello 3383278 Are you having both issues? It seizing at 80% as well as the address function not working? I tested the address function on mine and was not having any issues. So I am curious if both are issues for you still?
