Recalculation gets stuck on 80%...always

Montana 700i with last firmware updates.

With explore app I will pass an address to route...it calculates slowly but it works.

If if I leave the route, it tries to recalculate the route but it stops at 80%. After a lot of time it shows an error...a message similar to unable to calculate the route.

are there options that I need to check? (I use it on motorbike with car profile)

I am in New Zealand and have the same issue. My 750i is up to date in all respects maps, firmware etc. I have maps set to 'auto'. I have Topo Australia and Nz, CN Aus & NZ, Free Open GPS NZ Auto routing…

Im in South Africa. Got the same 80% calculation fuckup/freeze and eventually get “route calculator error” on the screen

I assumed my unit was faulty till I found this on the web and I see…

I am in Australia and I am getting exact same error.

I am in Spain and getting the same error, but there was a very recent maps updating and it looks like it is solved, crossed fingers.

When my 750i hangs at 80% I have to deslect all maps using the icon on the map screen. Then it navigates completely. I hope they fix this soon.

Ok. now it works....but...

1. I have performed a device reset

2. I loaded the Garmin OSM (garmin.bbbike.org) map on the SD card

3. In Map Manager I unchecked all maps except Garmin OSM

4. Now it calculates/recalculates correctly and quickly.

Yep, I have the same problem. "Calculating route" gets stuck at 80%. Only happens after the latest update.

In Australia, same issue. I was able to get it working after a few attempts at changing the map settings.

I have Topo Australia and Nz, CN Aus & NZ, Free Open GPS NZ Auto routing, Does anyone know which maps should be activated if you are on auto? Mine are all acivated except for Worldwide DEM Basemap. My system does not seem capable of recalculating properly. One wrong turn and it freezes at 'recalculating' 80%. This problem has been around for so long. Why can't Garmin fix it? If the 750i is no good for autorouting and only good for hiking, please say so and I'll dump it and go back to using my mobile phone which doesn't have any problems at all with navigating in NZ. Trouble is I ride a motorcycle. That's why I bought this very disappointing and expensive Garmin product
