Record track without sending points to InReach

I have upgraded from the 650 to the 750i. I want to be able to record my hiking route without sending any data to InReach. How do I do that?

Disable inReach Tracking.

To be perfectly clear about this, do NOT use inReach > Tracking > Start Tracking.

Instead, use Recording Controls > recording tab > record button.

It will probably also be necessary to decouple tracking and activity logging. Setup > Tracking > Link with Recording > Off. While you are there, be sure that Auto Track is also Off.

The 7x0i currently has no "send interval" which means "do not send". So the above is really the only way I know of to set this up.
