TopoActive scale

What is the scale of TopoActive? 24K?

I am thinking buying the Topo 24K map and trying to understand the benefits of it since I have a 750i.

Pretty sure that the TopoActive maps that come with the unit are 1:100,000. They are based on OSM topos. However, I am unable to find information on the scale of the OSM topos.

Garmin also fails to specify. The comparison between Topo 100K and TopoActive shown here is hard to interpret. However, the contours don't appear to be any more detailed on the TopoActive sample.
