Custom Map List

I used to have a list of Custom Maps (kmx files) that I can enable/disable individually. I think it was under Map Settings/Advanced/Custom Maps. Now all I can do it enable/disable en mass on the map selection screen.

I've removed all custom maps and added back in a couple that were working, trying in both internal mem and sd card Custom Maps folder

Any ideas?

Although I haven't looked lately, I believe it still works as described on the 7x0i. I don't know about the f/w on the 680.

That is unfortunate. I just checked my Montana 680, same issue. Most units allow individual KMZ maps to be enabled/disabled. Not certain the Montana 6x0 ever did....

Well, at least i know i am not crazy. I got my unit last Nov after my old Oregon 600 power switch broke. Garmin swapped it for $160. The Oregon definitely had the individual kmz options. I only noticed the difference last two weekend hikes. Maybe it never had the option. That's disappointing since many of my custom maps overlap and I like to switch them. Now I can only see the top layer.

The unit came with version 3.6 firmware and i downgraded that to 3.5 with no change. I put a support request into Garmin last Monday and called them last night. They still don't have any answers -- not even if the feature is supposed to be available

I suppose i can convert the kmz to img if I have to
