want to lock screen the way the oregon 700 works. that is lock the touch from changing the screen but activate brightness

I know it's new but the next feature I want is to be able to lock the screen from touches similar to the way the oregon 700 works.

I want to be able to read the screen with backlight to turn on with touch but to have to press the power button or touch specific location to unlock.

this prevents inavettant touches from messing up routing or map settings either from running hsnd or from rain

Not on the 750. You have to use the button to light screen.

Are you using the Touchscreen Lock found on the Status Page?

yea only had the 700i one day.

I see now the lock under the status and the unlock is the power button. cool!
