Securing to backpack or belt

Anyone heard if garmin has any plans to release a carrying option that clips or secures to a backpack shoulder strap? It seems they thought this thing would only be used mounted in vehicles...

Hi, I am designing a solution for this issue, it combines a belt clip and a rucksack strap attachment in one solution. I would be very interested in the appeal and possible volume of this which would allow me to make a decision on tooling. JWB.

I just got a pouch with a belt loop that fits my Garmin Montana 700i perfectly, and also has a slot that fits my iPhone SE. One-handed velcro closure is easy to open and close. Less than $15.00. Link is www.amazon.com/.../ref=ppx_od_dt_b_asin_title_s00
