Garmin Montana 700i Install using Gatmon RAM AMPS mount.

Garmin :

I installed the AMPS mount using the red wire to the battery hot and black wire to the battery ground. I checked the mount for power and the AMPS pins are get power....When I install my new 700i into the mount it does not charge at 50-90% on the battery bar??? It there a smart feature the starts charging the 700i device and below X% of battery??

I have hooked my old Montana 600 to the same power source and charges fine ..

Please advise...

PS Do you have install instruction for 700i AMPS mount and wiring?

My 700i charges to 100% when installed in the AMPS mount. My guess is you are not getting enough amps from your 12v source. The manual for the mount is fond at the below link -
