Bluetooth connection problems

So far I have not been able to successfully connect a Bluetooth audio device to the Montana 700i.
I have neither a voice output on the car radio nor Bluetooth headphones or loudspeaker.
Pairing of the audio devices is shown.
Voice output worked with the AMPS bracket.
Has anyone already successfully paired their Montana 700i with a bluetooth audio device?

I plugged in the sena headset installed in my motorcycle helmet. There are voice comments, no volume control!

You were unable to change the audio volume on the SENA headset or the Montana 7x0?

The volume on the headset changes. There's no adjustment in the montana 700.

This is correct operation. The Montana 7x0 defaults volume control to the connected headset. The Volume control that will appear on the Montana 7x0 Status Page is for external speakers connected via powered mount.

If it actually fails to pair, conventional wisdom is to have each device “forget” the other. Then start over.

After connecting to the headset, the hints work, but there is no volume control on any page in the montana 700.

There wont be. Volume control defaults to the Headset on all wireless headset connections.

I have also not been able to connect Bluetooth to an audio device. I have two BT speakers - one it never connects to, the other one it will connect to, but after about 30 seconds it disconnects. It is too bad they didn't include a 3.5mm audio jack on either the main unit or the suction cup mount - such a simple cheap solution to get audio from the GPS.
