Increase brightness in AMPS

Hello,

is it possible to increase the maximum brightness if the Montana 7xx is in the external powered AMPS, or is this already the limit of the display hardware?

Currently there isn't a way to increase the brightness beyond the maximum. I have opened a Support Ticket to document users requesting more brightness and would be happy to add you to the ticket along…

Yes it was horrible and needs to be addressed. I could not even read the screen while trail riding, I adjusted the brightness to the max and it really did not make a difference.

I would like to add to the above: My Jeep's windshield darkens in the daylight. My eyeglasses do the same. The 750i when mounted to my windshield during the daytime is visually unusable, However, I can still follow the voice guidance when using a route.

There is no ticket that you'll be able to access. Adding you to the ticket allows us to email you regarding this brightness increase request. At this point, it is a feature request and when I add users to the ticket, it shows that our customers want this feature so we can take it into consideration for product development. At this time, there are no updates.

If a return is possible, it would be via the channel through which you purchased the unit. The unit is not defective, so it’s not a warranty issue.
