How to get rid of annoying mountain logo with up/down arrow

Whenever I navigate a track, on top of the purple line of my track there are many annoying mountains logo with an up ou down arrow that basically prevents me from seeing my track in the first place.

How can I get rid of them, they have no use for them, besides hiding my track. I also had the same problem on my Montana 650.

I had the same problem I plotted a route on base camp when I was out on the hike it was difficult to see the path because waypoints just over crowded the route

Have you tried changing the zoom level for map points? The default is auto but you can change what zoom level they appear. Setup- Maps-Advanced Setup- Zoom Level. You could also try reducing map detail, also in that Advanced menu. I haven’t seen that symbol on my US maps, at least not yet.

Absolutly no effects. Besides, I would not like it if the only way to remove garbage from the map was to loose map details ...

I know this trail and it is almost flat, with elevation of less than 50 feet. This garbage clutters my screen and is completly useless. If Garmin desperatly wants to show this garbage, at least make it an option so that 99.999% of the users can unclutter their screen my removing it.

I meant that most of the trail only has very slight inclines, so having thos mountains logo does not help at all, it just hides the track.

Am I the only one with that junk on top of my track or if this is the way tracks appear for everybody when they follow the track with the GOTO option?
